According to the ever reliable Gianluca Di Marzio, Henrikh Mkhitaryan will most likely be joining Manchester United for a fee of €38m, which was submitted not too long ago. United are waiting on Borussia Dortmund’s response but are confident that BVB will accept the bid for the Armenian international. There are only a few more documents left to complete and then the transfer can be formalised. He will be offered a 4-5 year deal to join United.
Di Marzio also says that Zlatan Ibrahimović will be in Manchester on the 1st July to close a deal to Man United where he’ll once again link up with José Mourinho. Mino Raiola (agent) met with Ibrahimović on Saturday to go through the offer from United. Zlatan has already agreed his salary and his waiting to talk about his role at United with Mourinho according to the Guardian.
The signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be significantly welcomed with United lacking that spark of creativity in recent years. As for Ibrahimović, next season could be a fairytale ending to his career at the top.
