This transfer saga in particular has seemed to drag on, with the United fanbase still unsure as to whether the deal will actually happen.
L’Equipe reported on Thursday that Pogba travelled to Los Angeles for his medical, and Gianluca Di Marzio has stated that the deal is done, with the fee standing at around €110m (plus Mino Raiola’s agent fee).
After several adverts and clues by adidas themselves, the deal, which will make the France international the most expensive footballer in history, seems to be drawing to a close.
Pogba left Old Trafford for free in 2012, and has since blossomed into one of the most sought out young talents in world football.
But, with José Mourinho now in charge, Pogba is keen to link up with his former club, and some of his old team-mates.
