According to the latest reports from The Independent, Alexis Sanchez is desperate to leave Arsenal this summer, and this has caused intermediaries to make contact with Manchester United over a possible move.
However, despite José Mourinho wanting the player at Old Trafford, the report claims that Sanchez would prefer a reunion with former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
Although, with City failing to negotiate a cash offer for the player, and not interested in making a cash-plus-player offer for Sanchez, the Chilean’s desperation to leave the Gunners this summer could see him end up playing for the Red side of Manchester.
United already have an abundance of attacking talent at their disposal, but the chance to sign a player like Sanchez does not come around often. Not only would Mourinho be signing a brilliant attacking talent with bags of Premier League experience, he would be taking one of Arsenal’s best players, and snatching him from the hands of Manchester City.
