The mystery man that Manchester United manager José Mourinho was watching at last Friday’s Austria-Serbia World Cup qualifying match has been revealed, if the Mirror are to believed.
According to David Maddock of the Mirror, the player in question is 22-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Mijat Gacinovic.
Gacinovic is seen by many to be one of the most exciting youngsters currently plying their trade in the Bundesliga.
The Serbian is a versatile midfielder capable of playing in the middle of the park as a box-to-box midfielder and also on the right as a winger.
Gacinovic has been lauded for his skillful dribbling and ball interception ability.
Man United face competition for the Eintracht Frankfurt man if they are to pursue his signature.
The English paper is reporting that German giants Bayern Munich had scouts in attendance to watch Gacinovic in action against Austria. It is also believed that a representative from Arsenal also attended Serbia’s prior two international matches to watch the 22-year-old.
