José Mourinho refused to answer questions about Spurs star Harry Kane in his pre-match press conference ahead of this weekend’s game at Old Trafford.

Kane will miss the game this Saturday due to a hamstring injury, yet Mourinho refused to comment on any impact this would have on the match.

In fact, before any questions were aimed at the Portuguese boss, he stated that he would not answer anything relating to the England striker.

Mourinho began his press conference with: “Because I know the question I don’t need the question, I’ll answer.

“I don’t speak about injured players so don’t ask me about Harry Kane, because to speak about Harry Kane I have to speak about [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic, about [Paul] Pogba, about [Marcos] Rojo, about [Michael] Carrick, so I don’t speak. Next question.”

Kane’s absence is certainly a huge blow for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, as the 24-year-old has emerged as one of the world’s top forwards in recent seasons.

Playing at home against a Spurs side without Kane leading the line, United fans will be hoping for a win in Manchester this Saturday.
