Jose Mourinho has revealed that Manchester United are a different team with Paul Pogba involved, after the Portuguese boss confirmed that the Frenchman will return to the squad for the game against Newcastle this weekend.
Mourinho delivered plenty of good news in his pre-match press conference, as he revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo will also return from injury for the game on Saturday.
Despite this, Mourinho singled out Pogba as the real difference maker in the team, and told reporters that his side are a different animal with the 24-year-old involved.
“Clearly you can see there was a Manchester United this season before and after his [Pogba’s] injury,” said the 54-year-old.
“He has qualities that influence our approach in matches.”
With Pogba back in the squad, United can look to return to their sparkling best, and the reemergence of Rojo and Ibrahimovic will surely aid this.
