According to the latest reports from The Independent, Borussia Dortmund are looking ever more likely to end Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s woes at Manchester United, if a deal for the right price could be agreed.

Mkhitaryan has been dropped from the last five match-day squads, after an alleged falling out with Jose Mourinho.

As per the report, United are willing to let the Armenian go at the right price, with the German club showing the most interest.

Mkhitaryan would join a list including Shinji Kagawa (who also played for United) and Mario Gotze, of players who have left Dortmund, and re-signed seasons later, if he was to return to Germany.

Reports from the Daily Mail have suggested that Inter Milan are front-runners to sign Mkhitaryan, as it begins to look increasingly likely that the play-maker could leave Old Trafford next month.

A possible replacement for Mkhitaryan is Bordeaux winger Malcom, who Mourinho is reportedly eyeing up a £26m move for in January.
