As of last night (Tuesday) Manchester United and Inter Milan have agreed the loan of Alexis Sanchez for the 2019/20 seasons.
The Chilean signed for Manchester United from Arsenal in January 2018 but has struggled since joining the Reds. The winger has only managed five goals and nine assists for the club, failing to impress Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Inter Milan have come into the fold late in the window and have now secured the services of Alexis Sanchez.
According to The Times, Inter Milan will pay the majority of the wingers fee, with United paying a smaller piece.
The newspaper claims that Sanchez is currently on £391,000-a-week and that United will pay £6 million of the yearly wages, with the Italian side paying more than £9,6 million.
The departure of Sanchez is expected to be announced imminently, leaving United with even fewer options up front. It was rumored that the injury of Anthony Martial would halt Alexis’ departure but that has proven not to be the case.
Sanchez will now join former United teammate Romelu Lukaku under Antonio Conte at Inter.
