Zlatan Ibrahimovic on United return, Paul Pogba and Crystal Palace defeat

Former Manchester United striker has rather unexpectedly come out and flirted a bit with the idea of returning to the Premier League.

The Swede spent one full season and United and left a big impression on the Premier League. Ibrahimovic scored 28 goals in his full season at the club, before having his calendar year ended by a knee injury in March.

The 37-year old is now lighting up the MLS where his rivalry with former Arsenal winger Carlos Vela is the main talking point.

Zlatan does not pass up the opportunity to make headlines, though. The former Sweden captain commented on United after his sides 3-3 draw with LAFC.

“I could easily still play in the Premier League,”

“If United need me, I am here! But unfortunately [for United], LA Galaxy have me.

“I did well in Europe, I brought 33 trophies with me to America and hopefully I can win some here as well.”

Zlatan also admitted that he watched United’s 1-2 defeat to Crystal Palace at the weekend and that he still talks with Paul Pogba.

“I watched the game against Crystal Palace and they were very unlucky,”

“Had they scored the penalty if would have been a different game but in England it’s not over until it’s over.”

On Paul Pogba, he said “We still speak. I give him advice but I won’t share it.”
