Mason Greenwood set for new £25,000-a-week contract

Mason Greenwood is set to commit his long-term future to Manchester United with signing a new contract believed to be worth £25,000 per week, according to The Athletic.

The 17-year-old has featured in every single game this season for United, off the bench albeit, and is considered one of the most exciting prospects in recent years at the club.

According to the news outlet, Greenwood is headlining several young players who are also set for contract talks with United.

The new contract reportedly includes bonuses for games played and more for every appearance made for the Reds.

Manchester United fans will be happy to see the youngster sign a new contract with the club with early moves abroad for young English players becoming more and more of a trend.

Anthony Martial was a notable absentee for United’s 1-1 draw at Southampton and should the Frenchman not return after the international break, a starting position for the first time this season may not be out of reach for Greenwood.
