Manchester United are set to reward Mason Greenwood and Jesse Lingard with extended deals whilst also pushing for contract talks with Paul Pogba, who is set to have only 12 months left on his contract at the end of the season.
United, however, have an option in Pogba’s contract to trigger a 12-month add-on clause – something the Reds will definitely exercise.
The club are reportedly not willing to let Pogba run his contract down and will try to convince him to extend his stay at United. The Frenchman is entering his fourth season back with United this year.
According to Evening Standard, extending the contracts of Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Mason Greenwood has become a priority for the Manchester United hierarchy.
The two Englishmen are expected to sign while there remains uncertainty of whether Pogba would be open to putting pen to paper on a new deal.
