Manchester United submit firm offer for Paul Pogba – reports

Manchester United have submitted a ‘firm offer’ for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, according to Duncan Castles.

Castles claims that the club remain ‘obsessed’ with bringing a player of elite calibre to Old Trafford, and that Pogba fits this spectrum.

Pogba notoriously left Manchester United in 2012 after a dispute over his playing time with then-manager Sir Alex Ferguson, which has gone on to be one of the few mistakes that Ferguson made during his legendary era at the club, as Pogba has gone on to be one of the most highly rated midfielders in world football.

Despite missing out on Champions League football for the upcoming season, United still believe they can tempt Pogba back to Old Trafford, according to the report.

Castles’ report also states Juventus have received another firm offer from the player, which is from French champions PSG.

Juventus are heading into the summer expecting to sell Paul Pogba, and have approached United-target Andre Gomes to see if the Valencia midfielder holds any interest in joining the Italian champions.
