Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is likely to sign for Manchester United next month, according to German outlet Bild.
The 27-year-old has been extensively linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks, thanks to his agent, Mino Raiola, speaking out about his client’s desires to switch to the Red Devils.
United have reportedly already had a bid for Mkhitaryan turned down, yet there are claims that a fresh bid (in the region of £28m) has been sent to the Bundesliga giants.
Bild, however, report that a deal between the two clubs is a mere €4m away, and that €40m for the player would be acceptable.
Dortmund want Mkhitaryan to stay at the club until 2017, which is when his contract expires, but Raiola is doing all he can to land his client his dream move to Manchester.
