Manchester United are ‘very close’ to completing a deal for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, according to the ever reliable Gianluca Di Marzio.
His report states that some paperwork is left to iron out, but an offer of €38m is likely to be accepted by the German club.

Mkhitaryan had an excellent 2015/16 campaign for Dortmund, but how did fans on Twitter react to his imminent move to Old Trafford?
Mkhitaryan for £30m is an absolute steal. Can't wait to see him at United next year.

€38m for Mkhitaryan is an absolute steal to be honest. Even in last year of the contract. Not many players like him around right now.

It is safe to say that the reactions from the fans were fairly positive, yet not all were fully convinced that Mkhitaryan is the man United need.
Still wish it was Draxler we were signing for €38m & not Mkhitaryan 🙁

Despite the (mostly) positive reaction to the news, there was one problem that many realised they would have to settle quickly if Mkhitaryan were to become a Red Devil next season.

Well seems I will have to learn how to spell Mkhitaryan right, seeing as the deal is all but signed

So, on the whole, aside from some spelling issues, the United Faithful would be overjoyed with the signing of Mkhitaryan, and will eagerly await the official announcement.
