Manchester United agree £26.3m fee for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, set to undergo medical this week

Manchester United have agreed a £26.3m fee with Borussia Dortmund for midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, according to Sky Sports News.

The 27-year-old has agreed personal terms with the club and is set to undergo a medical this week.

Despite Dortmund wanting the player to serve the remaining year of his contract, it seems as if the playmaker will be joining the Red Devils soon.

Mkhitaryan has been extensively linked with Manchester United over the past few weeks, after his agent, Mino Raiola, spoke out about his client’s wishes to move to Old Trafford this summer.

The Armenia captain scored 18 goals and racked up 25 assists for Dortmund last season, earning him the Bundesliga Players’ Player of the Year award for his stellar campaign.

José Mourinho has already added to his squad this summer with the signing of Eric Bailly from Villarreal, and looks set to further strengthen his side with the additions of Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
