Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has issued an update on an injury he picked up on international duty with Armenia last week.
The 27-year-old flew back to Manchester immediately after injuring his thigh to begin his rehabilitation, and is a huge doubt for the game against Manchester City on Saturday.
Mkhitaryan has taken to Twitter to inform the fans of how his recovery is going, as many fear he will miss the huge upcoming fixture against City.

If Mkhitaryan were to be fit for this weekend, he probably would start on the bench, as it would be unlikely for Mourinho to give him his first Premier League start in such a big game. However, the midfielder looked sharp in the closing stages of the 1-0 win against Hull, and will be missed if he cannot recover in time for the derby.
