Perisic saga far from over as winger continues to push for move

Manchester United could still end up signing Ivan Perisic, despite Inter Milan meeting their FFP requirements without selling the Croatian.

Inter are satisfied that they have met their requirements before the deadline on June 30 by raising the €30m they needed as a result of several smaller deals, therefore allowing them to keep hold of the 28-year-old.

However, according to Goal, Perisic still wants a move to the Premier League, and United are ready and waiting to sign him for a lower fee that was being demanded over the past few weeks.

Perisic is keen on a move to England, and changed agents this season, as his last one, Tonci Martic, didn’t press hard enough to get his player his desired switch.

Goal believe that his new negotiator, Fali Ramadani, has been given instructions to take a far more aggressive approach in attempting to get Perisic his move to England.

If Perisic pushes for a move and states his unhappiness at Inter, United will be in an ideal position to negotiate, and could sign the Croatian for the €30m they have been prepared to pay all along.

One thing’s for sure, it looks as if this saga is far from over.
