Manchester United sign youngster from Charlton

According to reports, Manchester United have signed Belgian teenager Largie Ramazani on a 4-year contract from League One side Charlton Athletic.

The Burundi-born striker is said to have begun his youth career for Anderlecht before moving to the London-based club.

A photo of the youngster holding a United shirt outside of Carrington was posted on Twitter by Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur.

Ramazani is reportedly one of the five academy signings United have made this summer so far alongside Ethan Galbraith, Aliou Traore, Arnau Puigmal, and Dishon Bernard.

United’s bolstering of its academy shouldn’t come as a surprise as the moves are part of a larger strategy to bridge the gap with city rivals Manchester City and other English clubs when it comes to academy recruitment.
