United target wants exit from Bernabeu agreed in next 48 hours

According to reports from Spain, Real Madrid midfielder James Rodríguez wants to have his transfer out of Madrid agreed within the next 48 hours in order to avoid having to go out on tour to the U.S. with the reigning Champions League winners.

AS‘ Mainu Sainz writes that Paris Saint-German, Manchester United, and Chelsea are all interested in signing the Colombian this summer.

It is believed that Madrid value Rodríguez at €70m and will not accept a bid for the midfielder that is below their valuation.

Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez would be happy to keep Rodríguez because of the player’s marketing value; however, the Colombian is disillusioned with his lack of playing time and wants out of the Bernabeau.

Rodríguez featured in only 33 of Real’s 60 games in the 2016/2017 season, and failed to make the bench for the Champions League final against Juventus.

Despite the lack of playing time, the Colombian still managed to score 11 goals in 1,824 minutes for Los Blancos.
