Real Madrid have now given up all hope of signing De Gea

Real Madrid have reportedly ended their long-lasting interest in United keeper David De Gea, ending a saga that has been going on for the past few seasons.

It seemed at times that De Gea was destined to sign for Los Blancos, yet a report from Don Balon states that Madrid have finally given up on signing the Spaniard, and have now turned their attention elsewhere.

Mourinho has insisted that De Gea is not for sale, and is said to be unhappy with how Real handled the Alvaro Morata negotiations.

This has resulted in Madrid looking elsewhere for a new keeper, ending their interest in De Gea.

This will come as great news to United fans, as De Gea has been one of our best performers for a while now, and many rate him as the best in the world in his position.
