Leicester City visit Old Trafford as this weeks guest as Brendan Rodgers’ men will look to continue their unbeaten start to the season with at least a point against the Reds on Saturday.
Leicester currently sit in fourth spot after four games in the league and are attempting to break into the top six again this season after their stellar campaign in the 2015-16 season.
United are looking for their second victory of the season, failing to win their last three. With up to seven first team players out for the game, who will Solskjaer pick? We take a look.
Goalkeeper: David de Gea
Despite looking shaky for the past couple of months, this is an easy choice for Solskjaer.
Right-back: Ashley Young
In for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is a doubt for the game with a back injury.
Centre-back: Harry Maguire
Set to face his old team for the first time since his big money move.
Centre-back: Victor Nilsson-Lindelöf
Has been a bit shaky at times this season but is undoubtedly still United’s first choice with Maguire.
Left-back: Marcos Rojo
With Luke Shaw and Diogo Dalot both out for the game and Ashley Young most likely playing on the other side of the pitch, Marcos Rojo is likely to play.
Defensive midfield: Scott McTominay
McTominay has started all four games for United this season and will start again on Saturday.
Defensive midfield: Nemanja Matic
Fred is not a bad shout to start but considering he is yet to feature this season, it is likely Matic will get the nod ahead of him.
Left wing: Daniel James
3 goals in 4 games for the Welshman and fresh off scoring for his country as well. Let’s hope he keeps this up, United will definitely be needing it.
Right wing: Mason Greenwood
It seems like the perfect time to give Greenwod his first start of the season.
Attacking midfield: Juan Mata
It’s either Mata or Pereira for this spot, don’t bank on Angel Gomes getting the nod just yet.
Forward: Marcus Rashford
Still hasn’t stepped up this season. Time to prove his worth.
