Sir Alex Ferguson praises Manchester United youngsters

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has heavily relied on some of Manchester United’s own products this season – it is clear that is the way forward for United since the Norwegian took charge of the club just over a year ago.

Sir Alex Ferguson himself was a big advocate of just this and is responsible of the most famous academy graduates in world football – The Class of ’92.

David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Gary & Phil Neville and Nicky Butt just to name a few, are some of the most successful graduates from United’s famous academy.

Three players in particular have impressed not only the fans this season but also caught the eye of our legendary manager.

“I think it’s the area in which United have always done well, giving young players an opportunity,” he tells Morson Group.

“And you find that giving them an opportunity, they don’t let you down and they’ve shown that.

“The boy Brandon Williams and [Mason] Greenwood and [Scott] McTominay – they’ve done exceptionally well.”
