Raiola: Pogba wants to go home to Juventus

Nevermind the incomings, one of the biggest transfer sagas this summer will be Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United.

It’s been a hot topic for the past two summers and this one will be no exception.

The Frenchman has one year remaining on his contract after this season, although the club have an option to extend it a further year. It is likely that United will exercise that option.

Mino Raiola, never afraid to make bold remarks, has now said that Paul Pogba wants a return to Juventus and that he sees it as his home.

That’s weird as his ‘homecoming’ was in 2016 when he joined Manchester United again. Paul Pogba has often said that he saw United as his home but it is a well-known fact now that he is looking for a way out.

Raiola also says that Pogba ‘cannot abandon United’ if the club finds themselves in a difficult situation.

“Pogba to Juventus? Italy is like home for Paul. He’d like to come back to Juventus,” Raiola said.

“But we’ll see what will happen after the Euros. Pogba wants to play at the best level but he can’t escape by Man United if they’re in a difficult situation.”
