Manchester United have been searching for a striker ever since the sale of Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan and even with the loan signing of Odion Ighalo, the club are rightfully still on the hunt for a permanent replacement.
According to Simon Jones of the Daily Mail, Manchester United have been keeping close tabs on Gent’s Jonathan David, a 20 year old forward who was voted 2019 Canadian Footballer of the Year.
The Canadian has scored an impressive 22 goals across all competitions this season, as well as bagging 11 goals in 12 appearances for his country.
The same report says United are expected to watch the youngster when Gent face AS Roma in the Europa League this week.
