With the transfer window coming ever closer and with no football to report on due to the current pandemic, rumours surrounding incoming players in the summer for Manchester United are rampant. While Rashford is a talent many praise as one of England’s best in recent memory, it still comes as a surprise to be named by the Leicester star as one of the best he has played with. It reaffirms how good of a player Rashford is, and as a common theme in this article, it may ramp up rumours surrounding Maddison’s loyalty to certain United players and his future at his current club.
What is also interesting to note in relation to the ramping up of rumours with a Maddison transfer is noting that Jadon Sancho, another Manchester United summer target, is also one of the best he has played with according to Maddison himself. Coupled with the current interactions on social media between Sancho and Rashford, the players seem to know how to excite fans. Name dropping Sancho on this list only heightens the speculation surrounding both players, as Maddison will be fully aware of the fans wishes to see them both in a United shirt.
