Jose Carlos Peres, president of Santos in Brazil, has revealed that he has been in contact with Andreas Pereira.
Pereira, who made his debut for Brazil in 2018, is said to be supporting Santos in his home country.
The midfielder is under contract at United until 2023 but the Brazilian is likely to find it hard to compete with Bruno Fernandes for a starting role in Solskjær’s side.
“I have Andreas Pereira on WhatsApp and I have been talking to him,’ Peres said.
“He’s done well at Manchester United. He will certainly wear the club’s (Santos) shirt one day.”
