Team training restrictions revealed ahead of Project Restart

Official protocols have been sent to Premier League managers and players on Tuesday with the intention of strictly observing social distancing during the first phase of team training.

According to the BBC, tackling will be forbidden in the first phase, with a number of on-pitch items such as corner flags, balls, cones, goalposts and even playing surfaces being disinfected after each training session.

Training sessions are set to officially resume on May 18 but will be restricted to 75 minutes. Testing measures will include two coronavirus tests per week, temperature checks and a daily questionnaire.

Players will not be allowed to share transport journeys into the training grounds with vehicle interiors being cleaned regularly as a suggestion.
