Boca Juniors want to sign Marcos Rojo this summer

Marcos Rojo has seemingly been on the brink of a Manchester United exit for a number of years now. The most recent being a failed deadline day move to Everton. He managed to secure a loan move to boyhood club Estudiantes LP but has only managed to make a single appearance due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The summer of 2020 could finally be the time Marcos Rojo leaves Manchester. According to ESPN, Argentine club Boca Juniors want to sign Manchester United’s Marcos Rojo in the upcoming transfer window.

The defender is out of contract next year but it’s said that Boca Juniors are keen to agree a fee for Rojo this year. United value him at around £15m. It is likely that the club could lower their asking price to get the player off their books. It’s yet to be seen if he’d be willing to take a pay-cut to permanently return to Argentina.
