According to police reports, the bike-riding thief ‘snatched’ the elderly woman’s purse only to be caught in his escape.
“The man came on a bicycle and snatched the older woman’s bag which she kept in the basket on her walker,” Swedish police say.
“A man who was nearby ran after the suspect and made a citizens arrest until police had arrived.”
And according to Sportbladet, that man is Victor Lindelöf.
“The man who intervened very wisely was athletic, more than that I cannot say,” said Daniel Wikdahl, a police representative.
