Manchester United FIFA 21 Ratings – Full List

It’s that time of year.

The new Fifa is just around the corner, and EA have officially launched their top 100 player ratings. Cue the meltdowns and debates.

On the back of such news, we’ve broken down the Manchester United Fifa 21 ratings below. Take a read and let us know your thoughts.

This piece has now been updated to show every single rating in the club’s database.

Bruno Fernandes – 87

Fifa 20 rating – 85

The highest rated Manchester United Fifa 21 card is Bruno Fernandes at 87.

This represents a +2 increase on last year’s ratings, an improvement that highlights just how effective the Portuguese international has been this season. Since arriving in January, the midfielder has elevated United’s transitioning into the final third, directly contributing to 20 goals in his opening 22 games with the club.

No Premier League player has managed a better attacking output (15) than Fernandes, and he ranks sixth as the best midfielder in the entire game. Kevin de Bruyne and N’golo Kante are the only two names in England to appear above his, in this department.

David de Gea – 86

Fifa 20 Rating: 89

David de Gea has suffered a significant drop-off in rating for Fifa 21. His minus three is the largest decrease for any goalkeeper that was 86+ in Fifa 20, and despite his decline in real-life form, many will categorise this as rather harsh.

The Spaniard registered 13 clean sheets in the Premier League last season – only Nick Pope and Ederson managed more. However, his continuous blunders has seen him drop down to become just the 11th best ranked GK on the game. How the mighty has fallen.

Paul Pogba – 86

Fifa 20 rating: 88

A small decline in Paul Pogba’s rating was expected, but 86 is other offensive to the French midfielder.

The 27-year-old was forced onto the sidelines in December due to an ankle injury, not returning until after Project Restart. Since re-entring Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s XI though, Pogba played a crucial role in delivering Champions League football to Old Trafford.

He started the last 8 PL games of the season, with the Red Devils winning on six occasions. The midfielder’s two goal contributions don’t tell the whole story on paper, as operating a little deeper, Pogba’s influence is felt through his distribution and positive intent on the ball.

The Frenchman has strived in feeding through the frontmen in 2020, and it’s no surprise that United’s attackers have started to find the back of the net on a more consistent basis, with himself in the team. As stated, Pogba’s Fifa 21 rating is offensive to the talent that he possesses.

Marcus Rashford – 85

Fifa 20 rating: 83

On the back of his best-ever goalscoring season at United, Marcus Rashford’s 85 Fifa 21 rating is certainly justified.

We predicted a +2 increase, and the game has delivered. The Englishman has transformed into a key attacking outlet in Solskjaer’s front three, coming inside and impacting the game from an overall standpoint, as opposed to just individual moments of magic.

Down that left channel, he will certainly be a desirable card on Ultimate Team, and one that will be the reasoning behind many destroyed controllers.

Edinson Cavani – 85 (estimate)

Fifa 20 rating: 88

Edinson Cavani’s Fifa 21 rating is yet to be revealed, as upon the game’s release, the striker was officially without a club.

The forward joined United on transfer deadline day as a free agent, upon leaving PSG after 7 years with the Ligue 1 side. During his time in France, Cavani helped cement his reputation in being of the deadliest strikers across Europe, registering 200 goals and departing as the club’s all-time record goalscorer.

However, on the back of a 7-goal season, we are expecting his rating to decline. Cavani was 88 on Fifa 20, but given his age (33) and lack of play-time during the 19/20 season, the game are likely to drop him down. 85 would still be a fair reflection of his abilities in-front of goal.

Anthony Martial – 84

Fifa 20 rating: 83

No United player scored more goals than Anthony Martial during the 19/20 season, so an increase this year was always going to be inevitable. The Frenchman has elevated his game under Solskjaer, transforming into a well-rounded and dynamic number nine.

However, some are disappointed to see just a +1 increase for his Fifa 21 rating. It’s hard to see why the Frenchman hasn’t at least received the same jump up as fellow partner Rashford, as the duo have virtually enjoyed the same productive season, if anything, Martial arguably tops the Englishman.

Martial’s 84 rating puts him 7th on the list of Premier League forwards – it isn’t far-fetched to call this harsh. An 85 would certainly have been just.

Alex Telles – 84

Fifa 20 rating: 84

Only three left-backs in the entire game have a higher rating than United new-boy Alex Telles. The Brazilian has been granted an 84 for the second year running, and he will no doubt be one of the most desirable in FUT.

The lowest rated stat on his card is his 74 shooting, with his 85 pace making him the quicker option over both Andrew Robertson and Lucas Digne. With 80 dribbling and 79 defending, he is certainly an all-rounder.

United fans can’t wait to see the Brazilian in action for the first-team, given his attacking reputation to get down the flank and into the final third. His Fifa 21 stats certainly reflect this intent, and the case can be made that these attributes make him the best LB in the game, in England.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 83

Fifa 20 rating: 79

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been granted the third highest Fifa 21 rating for a Premier League right-back, representing a healthy +4 increase on last year.

The Englishman missed just 3 PL games all season, with United dropping points in two of these. He’s established himself as the side’s starting RB, and one of the most defensively sound full-backs in the division. Averaging 3.7 tackles per game, he ranks 3rd in this department, with his 0.6 fouls per game ranking him beyond the 160th mark – efficiency at its finest.

Although his 82 defending trait can be called into question, fans will certainly be accepting of AWB’s Fifa 21 rating.

Donny van de Beek – 83

Fifa 20 rating: 83

This card was certainly one that many United fans will have wanted to see. Donny van de Beek’s Fifa 21 rating is 83, the same as it was last year.

The Dutchman enjoyed another productive season with Ajax, hitting double digits in goals for the third successive year. Admittedly, such players will struggle to achieve a drastic increase whilst playing in the Eredivisie, but the midfielder could be set for a big improvement for Fifa 22.

He has already enjoyed a strong start to life with United, and fans will hoping that this a sign of things to come.

Harry Maguire – 82

Fifa 20 rating: 82

Fairly harsh this one. Harry Maguire’s rating has stayed the same, despite keeping 13 clean sheets in the league last season – only two clubs kept more.

The Englishman featured in every single minute too, sitting at the heart of a United defence whose stats significantly improved in comparison to 18/19.

A +1 would have been sufficient enough.

Luke Shaw: 81

Fifa 20 rating: 81

Last season was certainly one of the more consistent campaigns of Luke Shaw’s Manchester United career. Despite a few injury troubles, the left-back was a persistent figure at the back, significantly improving on his defensive duties.

Although his attacking output remains limited, his strong form in 2020 probably justifies another 81 rating.

Fred: 81

Fifa 20 rating: 78

We predicted an improvement on Fred’s part, but we weren’t expecting a drastic +3.

The Brazilian’s Fifa 21 rating stands at a respectable 81, making him a decent card to bolster your squad with. Last season, the midfielder certainly came on for the club, becoming much more composed in possession and transcending into a much more trusted member of Solskjaer’s squad.

Sergio Romero: 81

Fifa 20 rating: 80

It remains to be seen whether Sergio Romero will still be with the club past deadline day, but if he does, United’s goalkeeping options will be stacked.

He’s received a +1 increase compared to last year, perhaps a slight surprise, given he only featured in 17 games. As ever though, he showed his class during this time, registering an impressive 12 clean sheets.

Nemanja Matic: 80

Fifa 20 rating: 80

In 2020, Matic has been one of the first names on the United team-sheet. The club ended the season unbeaten in their final 13 league games – the Serbian featured in every single one. Anchoring that midfield, he has granted a license for Pogba and Fernandes to flourish.

Some may have expected a slight increase on his Fifa 20 rating, but at 32-years-of-age, it isn’t the biggest of surprises, given the game’s metrics.

Victor Lindelof: 80

Fifa 20 rating: 81

If Maguire wasn’t receiving an upgrade, then Victor Lindelof’s Fifa 21 rating wasn’t going to see an improvement either. The two players featured in the most minutes for United last season, establishing a partnership at the back, despite this also stemming from injury problems elsewhere.

A -1 decrease is perhaps a little harsh, given the club’s strong defensive record on paper, but the Swede has looked a little suspect. His weakness 1v1 has been shown at times, and Fifa have took action upon his stats.

Dean Henderson: 80

Fifa 20 rating: 74

Another Man United Fifa 21 rating that fans were looking forward to seeing was Dean Henderson.

The goalkeeper returned from his debut campaign in the top-flight with Sheffield United, massively impressing last season. He registered 13 clean sheets in total – only two players managed more in the division.

His +6 increase is a testament to his recent development, with his rating only looking likely to continue on this trajectory path.

Mason Greenwood – 77

Fifa 20 rating: 67

Mason Greenwood’s Fifa 21 rating was always going to be one to watch, given his spectacular debut season at senior level, and fans will welcome his +10 increase.

In fact, such an elevation in stats has seen the forward become the seventh most improved card, in comparison to last year’s game. His profile in Fifa 21 is of a RM, not a RW though, which is a tad surprising.

Looking into his attacking traits, they are certainly well-balanced across the board. Greenwood’s 81 pace is complimented by his 78 shooting and dribbling, with his 71 passing and 67 physical making him quite a desirable card to pack. At 18-years-of-age, we can expect this rating to continue on a trajectory path.

What do you think of this year’s Manchester United Fifa 21 ratings? Some may argue with certain downfalls, particularly given the club’s productive season. At the time of writing, this ratings are the only official ones released so far. As more player ratings get released, we’ll be updating this page, so stay tuned!

Daniel James – 77

Fifa 20 rating: 77

Despite spending a full-season in the Premier League, Daniel James’ Fifa 21 rating has stayed the same.

The Welshman enjoyed a very strong start to the 19/20 season, scoring 3 goals in his opening four games for United. Since then however, he has faded quite dramatically.

He has struggled to adapt at times, particularly against those sides that like to deploy a deep-block. James is now utilised as a squad outlet, meaning his game-time during the second stage of the campaign dropped significantly. Still, a +1 would have been a fair resemblance to his opening campaign in the top flight.

With 95 pace and 76 dribbling though, his card does have the potential to be quite a ‘gem’ in this year’s Fifa.

Facundo Pellistri – 71

Fifa 20 rating: 70

18-year-old new United signing Facundo Pellistri, has been given a silver card of 71 this year. He was 70 on Fifa 20, but for next year, we expect this rating to soar.

The Uruguayan is expected to become a part of the senior squad this season, and he has the opportunity to capitalise on a lack of competition down the right channel.

On Fifa 21, he is a RM with pace of 84 and dribbling 73, so he will be pricy for a silver card. You may opt to utilise him frequently on career mode too, as last year, he had a potential rating of 86. This will presumably have slightly increased too, given his small upgrade.

Diallo Amad Traore – 60

Fifa 20 rating: 62

Seeing Diallo Amad Traore receive a downgrade may come as a surprise, but it’s easy to forget that he has made just 3 senior appearances for Atalanta.

The forward is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Italy, hence why United snapped him up on deadline day for €30m. It’s also why he had a potential rating of 82 on the game last year.

On Fifa 21, he has been given a ST card, with 77 pace, 68 dribbling and 60 shooting. For anybody into their bronze teams, he is certainly a strong card to build around. A big 12 months lie ahead for the 18-year-old and just like Pellistri, we will inevitably be looking at a huge upgrade on his future rating, at the end of the season.
