Predicted teams: Manchester United vs Chelsea

The games are coming thick and fast for Manchester United and the squad will already have forgotten about the euphoric win against Paris Saint-Germain earlier this week.

United’s return to Europe’s most elite competition (for now at least) saw The Reds conquer Paris once again after goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.

Solskjær surprised with his team selection, leaving both Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic out of the team. Anthony Martial, who was suspended against Newcastle and will miss tomorrows game against Chelsea, was drafted back in.

The Norwegian opted for a change in formation to his trusted 3-5-2, deploying Alex Telles on the left-wing, a spot usually occupied by Brandon Williams in bigger games.

Edinson Cavani, who only started training with the squad last week, missed out on a reunion with his old PSG teammates but could make his debut this weekend according to the manager.

Solskjær confirmed that the Uruguayan, Harry Maguire & Mason Greenwood all ‘have a chance’ to feature.

“I hope and expect all three of them to be available for selection. Of course we’ve got a training session this morning which is the last chance of preparation, but they’ve all got a chance, all of them.

“He (Greenwood) made one mistake with England and suddenly the English press come at him,” Ole said in defence of the 19-year-old.

Manchester United (3-5-2): De Gea; Tuanzebe, Lindelöf, Shaw; Wan-Bissaka, Fred, Pogba, McTominay, Telles; Fernandes, Rashford

Chelsea (4-3-3): Mendy; James, Silva, Zouma, Chilwell; Jorginho, Kante, Mount; Pulisic, Havertz, Werner
