Mauricio Pochettino would be interested in taking the Manchester United job should it become available, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The same outlet broke the news on Thursday morning that the Red Devils have already approached the Argentinian, with the view to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
United currently sit 15th in the Premier League table, with just two wins from six games. The team are yet to win at home in the PL this season, with the pressure quickly mounting on Solskjaer’s shoulders.
The 2-1 defat on Wednesday to İstanbul Başakşehir saw the team hit a new low, with the Pochettino links quickly following soon after.
As per the above report, the former-Tottenham manager is interested in taking the hot-seat at Old Trafford, news which could ignite the United board into taking action. The Red Devils are clearly keeping close tabs on the 48-year-old, with this story being one to closely follow.
Pochettino has been without a job since November 2019. He left spurs with a win percentage of 54.3%, after 293 games in charge.
