Amid their search for a suitable left-winger to add to Michael Carrick’s ranks before next season, Manchester United have landed on Iliman Ndiaye as a feasible option.
That’s according to Manchester Evening News, which adds that United have yet to materialise their interest by making a move.
Iliman Ndiaye on Manchester United's shortlist if they move for a left winger this summer. Interest in Morgan Rogers, who can also play that role, but competition will be fierce. Ndiaye would offer flexibility in attacking positions #mufc

Why United are considering a swoop for Ndiaye
Understandably, bolstering that particular area isn’t seen as one of the utmost priorities in the lead-up to the window opening, unlike the midfield.
United are pleased with the job Patrick Dorgu has done in a more attacking role on the left flank, while Matheus Cunha is also more than capable of occupying the position.
Yet, the addition of Champions League football to the schedule next term means depth across the squad is essential if United are to go head-to-head with European giants, as well as stay amongst the top end of the Premier League table.
How has Ndiaye fared in England?
Ndiaye would provide the Premier League experience that INEOS have favoured in the last year, hence the additions of Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha before 2025/2026.
He has plyed his trade in the English top flight with both Everton and Sheffield United, returning a total of 15 goals and three assists in 66 appearances.
According to The Athletic, the 26-year-old has rebuffed ‘multiple’ contract offers from the Toffees in recent months.
Everton are braced for a fight to keep hold of Iliman Ndiaye, with the star forward having rejected multiple new deals over the course of the season.

He is tied to the Hill Dickinson Stadium until 2028, but Everton are keen to tie him down to a more lengthy deal in order to deter outside interest.
It’s claimed that the board have discussed the prospect of adding an exit clause to Ndiaye’s existing terms, one that could be activated as early as this summer.
That way, the Merseyside outfit can at least ensure they’re getting their money’s worth and the fee that they want for their talisman.
