Rio Ferdinand has urged Aurelien Tchouameni to make Manchester United his club of choice if he were to leave Real Madrid this summer.
The midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu before he enters the penultimate season of his contract.

Currently, it’s thought Madrid are undecided over his future, as they prepare for a major squad overhaul after entering uncharted territory of back-to-back trophyless campaigns.

During the shake-up, Tchouameni could well be sacrificed to make way for new additions, such as Madrid’s priority target, Enzo Fernandez.
A deal may have to wait until he has concluded his World Cup duties, with the France international now preparing for a Round of 32 clash after the 2018 winners comfortably won all three group-stage matches.
He has racked up 48 caps for his nation, as well as a whopping 195 appearances for Los Blancos, where the £70 million-valued star has won the Champions League, La Liga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup – amongst plenty of other major accolades.
What did Ferdinand say to Tchouameni?
On Friday, Ferdinand issued a public plea to Tchouameni in hopes of luring him towards an Old Trafford switch.
“Man United are waiting for you, bro,” read the caption, and the ex-defender said in the attached clip: “If Tchouameni has half a sniff of getting out of that club, Man United have to be the first team at the door, knocking, and make sure he can’t even talk to anybody else. Get him signed, sealed and delivered.
“Tchouameni, I know we’ve had a few conversations in private, but man, I know you watch the show. [I’m] looking down the lens right now at you behind these shades.
“There’s only one club for you, man. If you’re looking to leave Real Madrid, we are the club. Man United are the club. If you want to make it happen, make the call.”
