Crysencio Summerville is reportedly ‘emerging as a leading target’ for Manchester United, according to Sky Sports.
The attacker’s World Cup exit in the early hours of Tuesday morning has now paved the way for United to make their move.

Summerville will be licking his wounds over early World Cup exit
Summerville suffered World Cup heartbreak in the Netherlands’ first knockout game after they slumped to a dramatic penalty shootout defeat against Morocco.
The 24-year-old can hold his head high over the role he played prior to missing his spot-kick, as he returned a hugely impressive two goals and two assists in four appearances on the biggest stage.
Yet, his efforts, along with the rest of the Dutch squad’s, were not enough to overturn the Moroccans, who finished fourth at the 2022 tournament and have now booked their last-16 spot.

A deal is expected to cost anywhere in the region of £50 million following West Ham’s relegation from the top flight, while they’re also about to receive a whopping £85m from Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer of Mateus Fernandes.
At Old Trafford, any pursuit of Summerville is likely to hinge on Marcus Rashford’s situation.

Given he will not be rejoining Barcelona following the expiry of his loan spell and buy option, there is a concrete chance he revives his career with his boyhood club next term.
After all, the only reason he left in the first place was because of his fallout with then-manager Ruben Amorim, who has since been succeeded by Michael Carrick long-term.
Carrick is a fan of Carrington graduate Rashford and would welcome the opportunity to add a player who recorded 28 goal contributions in 2025/2026 to his ranks ahead of his first full campaign in the dugout.
