Manchester United are reportedly ‘showing a strong interest’ in Crystal Palace talisman Ismaila Sarr this summer.
The Red Devils are seeking a proven forward to ease the goalscoring burden on young Benjamin Sesko without simultaneously breaking the bank.
United add Ismaila Sarr to forward shortlist
Now, according to TeamTalk, they’ve landed on the 28-year-old Eagles star.
INEOS chiefs are said to be hugely impressed with the campaign Sarr has just overseen, which culminated with him playing a pivotal role for Senegal at the World Cup.
He notched a remarkable four goals and two assists in the four starts he made before the Senegalese were knocked out in an extra-time defeat to Belgium last night.
In the Round of 32 clash, Sarr scored and created a goal to ensure he did his bit, after which Belgium completed a dramatic comeback to level the tie on the cusp of full-time.

How Sarr fared for Palace last term
At club level, he finished 2025/2026 with 21 goals to his name across all competitions, as well as two new winners’ medals in the form of the Community Shield and the UEFA Conference League.
Throughout Palace’s journey to the final in Leipzig, Sarr contributed a whopping nine goals and was subsequently named the Conference League Player of the Season.
Alas, it goes without saying that Palace will have no desire to facilitate his exit, and given he’s tied to Selhurst Park until June 2029, they’re really under no pressure to, unless the player starts pushing for a move.

Sarr’s complete record for Palace
The Saint-Louis native joined Palace from Olympique Marseille in 2024 in a £12.5 million deal. He spent only a year with Marseille, prior to which he had represented Watford for four years.
It remains to be seen if United will ignite their pursuit now that Sarr’s international duties have concluded for the summer.
