Marcus Rashford has told reporters that any movement over his club situation will have to wait until he’s done at the World Cup.
The Manchester United man is now preparing for a quarter-final tie against Norway, which will be played this Saturday at 10pm BST.
Rashford to delay transfer movement until after World Cup
Rashford was an unused substitute for the Three Lions in the early hours of Monday morning as they fought to secure a seismic 3-2 triumph over Mexico at the Azteca.
He’ll be hoping he can do enough in training this week to show Thomas Tuchel why he deserves a place in the starting XI for their clash with the Norwegians, or at least to make it off the bench for the crunch outing.

Ultimately, when his international duties have concluded this month, the 28-year-old’s future will once again be at the forefront of United’s transfer business.
“As a person, I live in the moment. I was very clear with everyone involved before the World Cup. I wanted it done before, and if not, then I won’t deal with it until after, because I want to fully be present in this moment,” said the forward last week.
“At the same time, we’re fighting for something. I don’t have energy to be putting into other things.”
Will Rashford play for United next season?
It’s thought INEOS’ pursuit of an additional left-winger, such as Crysencio Summerville, hinges on Rashford being sold.

There is also the possibility he revives his career at Old Trafford, despite his iconic No.10 shirt being claimed by Matheus Cunha last summer.
The Carrington graduate returning to United is not considered the best-case scenario by the club, as they have been keen to have his £325,000-a-week wages removed from the books once and for all.

His contract, which runs until June 2028, contains a £40 million release clause that can be activated by any side except direct arch-rivals Liverpool and Manchester City.
