Andrea Pirlo has praised Atalanta star Ederson ahead of his impending move to Manchester United.
The Italy legend weighed in on the imminent transfer when speaking with MailSport.
What did Pirlo have to say about Ederson?
“I think he is a player [who will be] good for the Premier League. He is a dynamic runner and intense. I think he is a player that can adapt really well there,” said Pirlo.
This week, it’s expected Ederson will fly to England to undergo his official medical with United.

The finalisation of his switch was delayed after he received a late call-up to Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad following an injury to Wesley.
Brazil were knocked out of the World Cup on Sunday via a shock 2-1 defeat to Norway, who advanced to the quarter-finals for the first time.
How Ederson fared at the World Cup
The 27-year-old featured sparingly throughout the tournament, but did add two caps to his name when over in the United States to take his tally up to five.
Although Ederson didn’t start a game, he played for nine minutes in the dying embers of a 3-0 group-stage win over Haiti before being granted an 11-minute cameo in their loss over the weekend.
Soon-to-be club teammate Matheus Cunha enjoyed a successful personal campaign prior to Brazil’s exit, having scored three goals in the 293 minutes he spent on the pitch.
He was deployed from the off for their Round of 16 tie, but was hooked just before the hour mark, despite the Selecao chasing an opener at the time.
Cunha, along with Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot, who featured in Portugal’s 1-0 defeat to Spain last night, will now have some time to rest and recuperate before reporting back to Carrington for pre-season later this month.
