Manchester United and Newcastle United are said to be leading the race for Borussia Dortmund star Felix Nmecha.
That’s according to BILD Sport, which adds that the German outfit will not accept a fee below €102 million (£102.5m) this summer.

Of course, such an exorbitant sum would likely price United out of a deal, especially after agreeing a £38m package for Atalanta’s Ederson and now accepting that Manuel Ugarte cannot be sold following his lengthy injury layoff.
Dortmund have set their demands so high as they, understandably, have no desire to part ways with one of their most influential men, who still has four years remaining on his contract following the extension he signed earlier this year.
However, Nmecha himself is thought to be keen on sealing a move to the Premier League.
If United can hold direct talks with the 25-year-old and gauge that he is willing to make the switch this transfer window, it could well pressure Dortmund into accepting a bid below their asking price.

With the Magpies also in the mix, United will have to utilise their Champions League qualification to ensure Nmecha prefers Old Trafford to St. James’ Park.

Newcastle do have money to spend after accepting a £92.5m bid from Tottenham Hotspur for Sandro Tonali, but their 12th-placed finish last term means they’re going to have to work harder than their rivals when trying to persuade targets to join them before the deadline.
In the meantime, Nmecha is currently on his summer break after exiting the World Cup – where he was a standout performer – with Germany last week.

The former Manchester City youth product will then report back to Dortmund in the coming weeks to start his pre-season training.
