Alejandro Garnacho has not been training with the Chelsea squad after they began their pre-season preparations at the start of the week.
Xabi Alonso has been overseeing his first sessions at Cobham since being appointed manager back in May.

The former Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen boss is already planning changes to his side before his maiden campaign gets underway – and Garnacho is likely to be one.
12 months ago, the Carrington graduate had told INEOS that they were to sanction his move to Stamford Bridge or deal with him refusing to play for the 2025/2026 season.
“Chelsea or I stay here and don’t play football for 6-12 months,” said Garnacho during the 2025 summer window.
Now, less than a year into his contract, which runs until 2032, Chelsea chiefs are seeking a buyer for the lacklustre Argentine.

How Garnacho fared with Chelsea
It goes without saying that Garnacho failed to impress for the Blues last term, so United will be rubbing their hands together at the fact they secured £40 million of pure profit from his exit.

In the 24 Premier League appearances he made, the 22-year-old returned just one goal and four assists.
Garnacho’s fluctuating form led to him making only 14 league starts while being an unused substitute for nine matches, including Chelsea’s final game of the season.
Alonso is seemingly unwilling to wait around in hopes the youngster revives the best version of himself, which has only been seen at United.
Instead, they will try to move him on before the deadline, with AS Roma now looking like his most likely suitor.

For United, Garnacho recorded 26 goals and 22 assists in 144 appearances across all competitions, but tarnished his reputation with how he handled his desire to leave.
