Ruben Amorim is reportedly looking to bolster his AC Milan squad with some familiar faces from his time at Manchester United.
The Portuguese is preparing for his first season in charge of the Italian giants after being appointed last month.
Which former players is Amorim targeting?
Already, Milan have been linked with a move for forgotten Red Mason Mount, who has yet to oversee an injury-free campaign at Old Trafford.
Speculation has quietened down on that front in recent weeks, with United closed off to the prospect of selling their £55 million acquisition.
However, new claims from Marca’s Matteo Moretto suggest Amorim is targeting defensive reinforcements in the form of Noussair Mazraoui instead.
The Moroccan full-back is currently enjoying his summer break after being knocked out of the World Cup by France last week, after which he will report back to Carrington to start his pre-season preparations.

He is tied to United until June 2028, plus the option of an additional 12 months to extend his tenure to 2029, if the club decide to do so.
Moretto adds that, as things stand, no talks have taken place between Milan and the Red Devils over Mazraoui, but he is certainly a player that’s appreciated and on their shortlist.
How Mazraoui has fared as of late
Mazraoui, whom Owen Hargreaves claims is ‘amazing every time he plays’, made 20 appearances last season, all of which came in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old was limited to 11 starts and was an unused substitute for six league matches.

Under Amorim, Mazraoui played 49 times across all competitions and racked up 3,684 minutes on the pitch.
It remains to be seen if the player himself is open to a new venture this summer.
