AS Roma are preparing to submit their opening bid for West Ham star Crysencio Summerville.
That’s according to Sky Sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who states that Roma ‘has ready an offer’ to send the Irons’ way.

Crysencio Summerville: The state of play
The proposal is believed to be in the region of £38 million, which West Ham will perhaps deem acceptable, given they’ve conceded Summerville will be leaving this summer one way or another.
They’ve already earned a whopping £85m through Mateus Fernandes’ sale, so aren’t pushed for cash on the market this transfer window.
However, Di Marzio adds that Roma are yet to receive any confirmation from the attacker that he actually wants to make the move.
In the meantime, Manchester United, who’ve been linked with Summerville on numerous occasions already, will be keeping a close eye on how things pan out.

They identified the 24-year-old as an ideal left-wing addition during his stellar World Cup campaign, during which he returned two goals and two assists before the Netherlands bowed out in the Round of 32.

United’s Summerville pursuit may hinge on Marcus Rashford leaving
The situation is more complex from United’s end due to their desire to offload Marcus Rashford, whose departure would then free up the funds for a replacement – while also having his £325,000-a-week wages moved off the books.
Rashford made it clear during the World Cup that there would not be any movement regarding his future until after the tournament.
England were knocked out last night following a 2-1 defeat to Argentina, but he will have to wait until after Saturday’s third-place play-off to conclude his international duties and head back home.
Still, it means fans should expect clarification next week over where the Carrington graduate will be spending 2026/2027. Only then can United begin putting the wheels in motion for a potential attacking addition.
