Newcastle remain keen on Larsson
According to a report from Absolut Fussball, Newcastle United are also monitoring his situation. Manchester United are certainly a more attractive proposition compared to Newcastle, and it will be easy for them to convince the midfielder to join the club. However, convincing his club to sell him for a reasonable fee will be very difficult this summer.
Larsson is a technically gifted central midfielder who will add creativity, control, and composure to the team. He has the pedigree to eventually succeed at a top club, but a move right now seems unlikely.
