Joshua Zirkzee has reportedly ‘expressed his desire’ to seal a summer move away from Manchester United.
That’s according to today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (courtesy of Sport Witness), which adds that Juventus are looking like his most likely suitors.

Juventus chiefs are of the belief that Zirkzee could play alongside forward Randal Kolo Muani, whom they’re currently trying to negotiate a deal for following his brief loan stint at the Allianz Stadium in the second half of 2024/2025.
In the meantime, they have also made contact with United for their No.11, with the Red Devils having already opened the door to a sale in order to raise transfer funds for their own attacking reinforcements.

However, one potential roadblock in talks is that the Old Lady have set their sights on a loan deal, whereas United would prefer to secure a lump sum upfront.
They shelled out £36.5 million for Zirkzee when signing him from Bologna in 2024, and are confident his value is still relatively high – despite a quiet two years in England.
How Zirkzee has fared at United
Yet, the Dutchman has struggled to make an impact in M16.
In the 75 appearances he’s made for United across all competitions, he’s returned only nine goals and four assists.
There is an acceptance that chances have been hard to come by for him, though. Last season, for example, he was limited to just five Premier League starts in total.

Zirkzee was one member of the squad who felt the detrimental impact of United’s early cup exits and lack of European football, so you can’t really blame him for seeking a new venture elsewhere.

The 25-year-old views a move back to Serie A as the perfect opportunity to revive his stagnant career, and he’ll certainly leave with the well wishes of everyone at Old Trafford.
