Manchester United have become the bookies’ favourites to sign Ismaila Sarr from Crystal Palace this summer.
As per odds relayed by CaughtOffside, the Red Devils are now priced at 4/1 in the race for Sarr, while Arsenal sit second on the list with odds of 5/1.

The Gunners are fresh off the back of a major transfer blow after Morgan Rogers favoured a move to Chelsea, eventually signing in a £117 million deal to become the most expensive British player ever.
As for United’s pursuit, they have identified Sarr as a suitable backup to young frontman Benjamin Sesko, who enjoyed a successful maiden campaign in England by returning 11 Premier League goals.
According to a report from Footmercato, 28-year-old Sarr has previously deemed United the club of his dreams, having supported them since childhood.
It remains to be seen if Palace would be open to facilitating a sale. If so, it’d likely take a substantial fee.

How Sarr has fared as of late
Sarr has been one of their most influential performers since signing, but particularly over the last year when the Eagles have been reaching new heights under Oliver Glasner.
Across 2025/2026, he returned 21 goals and two assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.
Nine of those goals came in the UEFA Conference League alone, where he claimed Player of the Season after aiding Palace on their way to a first-ever major European honour.

Joining United would allow Sarr to ply his trade in the Champions League for the first time (barring two qualifying matches he played with Olympique de Marseille), as well as adding to his Premier League experience while representing the 20-time champions of England.
