Manchester United are reportedly preparing to test Paris Saint-Germain’s resolve with a £51 million bid for Warren Zaïre-Emery.
However, the reigning Ligue 1 giants are said to value their prospect at £68m, according to French outlet Top Mercato.
Warren Zaïre-Emery: The state of play
Zaïre-Emery is currently on his holidays following the conclusion of the World Cup last week, where he finished in fourth place with France.
The 20-year-old only featured twice at the tournament, initially for just 19 minutes of their quarter-final win over Morocco before playing the full 90 minutes of their third-place play-off clash with England.
He has enjoyed a more prominent role in Paris, however.
Last season, Zaïre-Emery made 27 league starts in total as well as 15 in the Champions League, where PSG went back-to-back in claiming the prestigious trophy by beating Arsenal on penalties in the final.

Would Zaïre-Emery want to join United?
As such, it remains to be seen if the player himself would even be open to a move away from the Parc des Princes, with PSG enjoying their most successful spell under the guidance of Luis Enrique.

United, on the other hand, are now trusting the process under Michael Carrick, who oversaw a stellar second half of 2025/2026 after succeeding Ruben Amorim.
His efforts resulted in him being appointed the permanent manager, having fulfilled the main goal assigned to him of qualifying for the UCL.
The club had identified Zaïre-Emery as an ideal third midfield addition to join summer signings Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, the former of which made his uncompetitive debut in the pre-season outing vs Wrexham last Saturday.
