Inter Miami have confirmed the arrival of Casemiro on an initial deal until the end of the 2027 MLS season, after which his contract can be extended until 2029.
The veteran will don the No.5 shirt as he does with his native Brazil, while his No.18 at United has since been inherited by new signing Youri Tielemans.

The pair represented opposing sides of El Clásico for several years, so they will already be well acquainted with one another.
Casemiro bid an emotional farewell to Old Trafford back in May after making his final appearance in a 3-2 home win over Nottingham Forest.
He was subsequently left out of the final fixture away to Brighton and Hove Albion so that he could begin his World Cup preparations, where the Selecao were eventually knocked out in the last-16 via a shock loss to Norway.
Casemiro bows out of Europe after 13 years
When it was announced that the 34-year-old would be departing upon the expiry of his contract, the M16 faithful frequently serenaded him with chants of ‘one more year, one more year, Casemiro’.
Yet, there was an acceptance amongst all parties that it was the right time for him to pull the curtains on his four-year Red Devils career.
In doing so, it has also spelt the end of Casemiro’s illustrious stint in Europe. The five-time Champions League winner can certainly hold his head high and feel assured that he had nothing else to prove on the continent.
