Manchester United and Juventus are locked in talks over a deal for Joshua Zirkzee.
That’s according to Sky Sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who claims that negotiations between the two sides are in ‘full swing’.

Juventus send opening proposal for Joshua Zirkzee
Juventus have submitted a £2.1 million loan offer, which would include a £25.6m buy option for the end of the campaign.
However, with United keen to get their money’s worth for the 25-year-old, they are angling for the buyout fee to be closer to £30m.
Zirkzee was an unused substitute for the second successive game yesterday as United claimed a 5-2 win – their first of the season – over Ipswich Town at Old Trafford.

It remains to be seen if Michael Carrick’s decision to leave the Dutchman on the bench was purely a tactical one, or whether it was because the club are anticipating he’ll be on the move before the deadline.

Zirkzee is likely to be granted more opportunities this season if he stays put due to the addition of Champions League football to the schedule.
Yet, the reintegration of Marcus Rashford, as well as Carrick looking to promote youngster Shea Lacey, means Zirkzee may once again be limited to cup appearances and off-the-bench cameos.

Alas, you could understand him pushing for a move elsewhere, even if only on loan, although he did turn down the chance to join Fiorentina over the weekend.
La Viola had approached United to gauge the possibility of taking the Bayern Munich graduate on loan, and were sizing up both him and Everton’s Beto.
Having since been rejected by the out-of-favour Red, they are closing in on a deal for Beto today, leaving Zirkzee still sat mulling over his options at Old Trafford.
