Marcus Rashford is still desperately awaiting his first goal contribution since being reintegrated into the Manchester United squad.
The forward has made six appearances across all competitions, having been rested for the entirety of United’s Champions League opener at home to Sabah.
Marcus Rashford: What’s been said?

Rashford’s lack of contributions didn’t deter Thomas Tuchel from calling him up to the England squad for the extended international break, but he has since withdrawn from the side – along with Kobbie Mainoo – due to injury.
Sunday’s draw with Fulham marked yet another blank display for the 28-year-old, with United’s only goal coming courtesy of Matheus Cunha’s 89th-minute equaliser at Craven Cottage.
Reacting to the Red Devils’ struggles on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, Sam Allardyce singled out Rashford for his substandard showings since the season began, saying: “Rashford shouldn’t be there.
“I don’t know what [United] got offered, but clearly they thought it wasn’t enough and they’d get more.
“If he did [a year at] Barcelona and they didn’t sign him after a full season there – they said he did alright – and signing [Anthony] Gordon (£69.3 million) from Newcastle at a much bigger fee than United wanted for Rashford (£26m), I think tells you a story.”
❌ "Marcus Rashford shouldn't be there."
😈 Sam Allardyce has seen enough already. Rashford needs to leave Manchester United.

Why fans should be optimistic about Rashford

It goes without saying that the Carrington won’t be satisfied until he’s reopened his account in a red shirt, but that doesn’t mean there haven’t been promising signs in recent weeks.
In fact, Rashford has created the most chances (13) of any player in the Premier League in the opening five gameweeks.

United are just missing the end product, which does need to be nipped in the bud as swiftly as possible.
