According to the latest reports from Calciomercato, Flamengo U-20 striker Lincoln is attracting interest from Jose Mourinho and Manchester United.
Lincoln, 16, is considered to be one of Brazilian football’s hottest prospects and the feeling in Rio de Janeiro is that it is only a matter of time before one of Europe’s big boys comes in to prise the young attacker away from Flamengo.
The Flamengo academy striker is currently starring for Brazil at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in India where he has registered three goals in four appearances and earned considerable praise for his attacking prowess.
Capable of playing across the frontline, Lincoln has earned fifteen caps for the Brazilian U-17 side and has nine goals to boot in total at the international level.
According to the Italian outlet, United face competition from Spanish giants Real Madrid and Italian powerhouse Juventus for the young Brazilian’s signature.
It is believed that Juventus are keen to swoop in and get a deal done for Lincoln before an inevitable bidding war ensues.
